Karen Menheere

Discovering her love for massage in 2001, Karen studied massage at  Tafe Queensland East Coast, (previously named Sunshine Coast Tafe), and attained her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2005.

Her experience began at The Hyatt Regency Coolum, where she stayed for 4 years, realizing an interest in treating sports injuries and ailments with the golf enthusiasts.

As the need to be stimulated in her profession grew, she started to pay particular attention to specific physical issues. Her interest grew and she attained a non-accredited certificate as a Physiotherapy Assistant.

This certificate allowed her to work in 3 Physiotherapist clinics over the next 4 years, often working alongside a Physiotherapist. The knowledge she gained certainly fueled her passion for Remedial Massage, and all things health-related. She has liaised with Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and Chiropractors constantly learning and expanding her approach to physical issues.

In 2012 she attained a Certificate IV in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consulting, which gave her a greater awareness of inner body health, and how this supports our outer structure.

She is currently studying German New Medicine, a science that pinpoints the psychosomatic conflicts that trigger body ailments and pathologies.

Karen has been teaching and tutoring massage at TAFE since 2007.

She loves the balance she has attained as she flows from Teacher to Therapist.
